Plymouth History Festival 2015 in full swing
The fantastic Plymouth History Festival is back with open days, special events, talks, tours, walks, festivals and much much more.
SWFTA is proud to have contributed material from the archive for two events this year:
PLYMOUTH SHORTCUTS: ARCHIVE FILMS ON PLYMOUTH’S WATERFRONT
Day and night
Admission is free. A smartphone is required.
Plymouth Shortcuts enables you to watch snippets of funky SWFTA archive films on your smartphone in the very places where the action original occurred. So you can see 1930s seaplanes land on Plymouth Sound, a 1960s beauty contest at Tinside Pool, Robert Lenkiewicz beside his mural on The Parade.
