Award Winning Film Feat. SWFTA Footage to be Screened at the Plymouth Short Film Festival 2014

Back in December 2013, SWFTA was proud to highlight the work of Carrie Hill, whose short film of Torbay cyclist Colin Lewis and which included archive footage from SWFTA, was awarded the Best Short Film Commission at the Two Short Nights Festival.

Judges said of Carrie's work: "This was a touching film that wouldn’t have been out of place in Fresh Choices and Old Conclusions, very well shot, with a mixture of archive and new footage – Carrie Hill is certainly director to watch. This was without doubt my favourite of all the bursary films."

The film 'Old, Grey and Fast' is now up for a Best South West Film Award and will be shown as part of the Plymouth Film Festival on the 17th May 2014.

The fabulous staff and volunteers at SWFTA have worked closely with Carrie to provide her with our best footage of Colin in action.

Best of luck Carrie, we hope you win!
